Day 3…

After a good rest, we were ready to take on day 3 at Rookesbury Park!

We were split into 2 groups and half of us took part in a sensory trail activity, whilst the other half did ‘survival!’

During survival, we  made shelters out of tarpaulin sheets, rope and nothing else in the woods. It’s amazing how little you need to be able to survive in the cold, wet woods.

The sensory trail required us to completely trust in each other and work as a team, whilst relying on our other senses when one (sense of sight) is taken away from us. It was interesting to see what was in front of us when we lifted our blindfolds!

Next, we faced our previous days fears and took on the climbing wall which was down the other side of the abseiling tower. Each of us climbed to our comfortable heights and all of us were impressed with our ability to climb higher than we thought we could.

After lunch, one half of the team took part in the buggy activity and the circus activity (swapped from yesterday) and the other half did climbing and the sensory trail.

To finish the day, Mr Canning and Miss Jiggins took some of us to play football, before we prepared for film night… The bloggers are now off to join the rest of the team to watch ‘Despicable Me’ and relax!

Goodnight!

Day 4 coming soon…
